The FIDE World Cadet & Youth Rapid and Blitz Chess Championships 2026 will be held from April 14 to 21 in Vrnjačka Banja, Serbia.

This major international tournament will bring together young chess players aged 8 to 18 from around the world. The championship is organized by the Chess Federation of Serbia with the support of FIDE.

The Chess Federation of Uzbekistan has announced the acceptance of applications for those wishing to join the additional team roster. Applications are accepted until February 9. A written application from a parent is required for inclusion, along with information about the accompanying person.
