From July 14 to 26, the Russian city of Khanty-Mansiysk is hosting the 22nd International Chess Tournament dedicated to Anatoly Karpov.

Representing Uzbekistan in this prestigious event is international grandmaster Shamsiddin Vokhidov.

The tournament's prize fund amounts to 13,700,000 rubles.⠀

Ten strong players from India, Armenia, Iran, Hungary, Spain, and Russia have been invited to participate.⠀
