The XXIV IPCA World Championship for Chess Players with Disabilities took place in Goa, India, from July 21st to 30th.
97 chess players from 18 countries took part in the competition. 7 of our chess players represented Uzbekistan. The tournament was organized in the standard, rapid, and blitz disciplines.
Our athletes achieved the following successes:
In the standard direction:
Normuminov Uralbek - 2nd place among teenagers under 15 years old
Azimjonov Abdurahmon - 3rd place among teenagers under 15 years old
In the Rapid direction:
Normuminov Uralbek - 1st place among teenagers under 15 years old
Ergashov Nurmukhammad - 3rd place among teenagers under 15
In the direction of blitz:
Azimjonov Abdurahmon - 3rd place among teenagers under 15 years old
