On August 9, at the “Yoshlar Ijod” Palace in the capital, the “Chess Board Open Championship of Uzbekhydroenergo JSC” chess tournament was held among employees of various agencies and organizations. The event was organized at the initiative of "Uzbekhydroenergo" JSC, with the support of the Youth Affairs Agency and in cooperation with the Uzbekistan Chess Federation.

The tournament promoted a healthy lifestyle, fostered the intellectual development of employees, and strengthened friendly ties between organizations.

The prize-winning places were as follows:
1st place – Haylaev Otabek — 130 million UZS
2nd place – Axmedov Saidaxmadxon — 100 million UZS
3rd place – Ozodov Ulugbek — 70 million UZS
