The Tashkent regional branch of the Chess Federation of Uzbekistan was ceremoniously opened in the city of Nurafshon to commemorate the 34th anniversary of our independence.

The event was attended by Mirzayev Zoyir Toirovich, the chairman of the Chess Federation of Uzbekistan's Tashkent region branch and governor of Tashkent region, along with distinguished athletes from the region.

The opening of this branch will serve as a significant step in further popularizing chess in our country and enhancing the intellectual potential of the younger generation.
